The ISNS 2011 POSTPONED

Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the organizing committee, we inform that the ISNS 2011 meeting in April 8-10 has been cancelled. As most of you might have already known, we involved the big earthquake followed by Tsunami, extraordinary huge wave attacks along the seacoast, on March 11th.
Although the disaster occurred at the northern part of Japan and the city of Tokyo, where we planned to have the meeting, was less affected, there has been some problems such as the shortage of electricity leading to the inconvenience of traffic systems.
In addition, we've been encountering the nuclear power plant failure caused by the quake.
For the safety of the participants from all over the world, we finally decided to stop having the meeting.
We apologize that you are also involved in the trouble, and wish for your understanding.

We are eager to organize ISNS meeting in Tokyo in the near future.
You can have the information on the upcoming meeting both on this Web site and e-mails from us.

Yours sincerely,

Shinichi Niijima, MD & PhD (President)
Yoshiyuki Ohtomo, MD & PhD (Secretary General)
ISNS 2011 Headquarter, Tokyo
