The Infantile Seizure Society (ISS) is a professional organization which was born in Japan in 1998, with a specific aim of promoting clinical and basic research on seizures in early life. The members are composed of pediatric epileptologists worldwide; it will hold a scientific meeting (International Symposia since 2001) once a year with a main theme of compelling importance.
